Regarding Fuel Cell Business Reports in the Media on November 15
Today, there were reports in the media that SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. and Nippon Oil Corporation will be establishing a new company for fuel cell systems. This was not an announcement made by SANYO. SANYO and Nippon Oil have collaborated for several years on LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) fuel cell system development. While SANYO is in discussions regarding its fuel cell business with Nippon Oil, nothing official has been decided at this time.
