Tokyo, January 20, 2006 ---- SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. (SANYO), announced a new Air Purifying System for commercial purposes, which is equipped with the ‘Virus Washer’ system – a system that uses electrolyzed water to eliminate air-borne virus in large rooms. The Air Purifying System would go on sale from February 1, 2006 in Japan through SANYO Commercial Sales Co., Ltd. This new product aims to realize SANYO’s new vision, ‘Think GAIA’ by providing people living in the 21^st century a safer environment to live in. SANYO strives to generate ideas to provide lifestyle solutions for a healthy and comfortable lifestyle.
