and culture and nurturing young artists. |

| Since 1991, SANYO has supported the Orchestra Osaka Symphoniker
to promote the arts and culture of Osaka and foster young, talented artists. Aiming
to combine efforts of those who provide support and those who receive it, comprehensive
help is given, including advice regarding the operation of the organization, provision
of rehearsal halls, and holding of in-house concerts to offer upcoming artists
opportunities to present their works to larger audiences. |

| Since 1991, SANYO has been a regular sponsor of the SANYO
Acoustic Special "Violin Night" concert by Iwao Furusawa held at the
Oizumi Cultural Village in Gunma Prefecture. By creating an atmosphere that unites
the player and audience, this concert has proved very popular, contributing to
the development of regional culture. |

| Aiming to support young, talented artists, SANYO has presented
SANYO Art Awards and SANYO Incentive Awards for outstanding works submitted to
the annually held Hakujitsu Artists Group Exhibition since 1992. The SANYO Art
Award winning entry is displayed in the SANYO office to help stimulate employee
interest in culture. |
